Response and Feedback #6

The different kinds of responses and feedback I have gotten are many different types. I have had negative feedback, positive feedback, feedback I was unsure on how to take, verbal feedback, laughter, silence, and no response that I was unsure of what to think about. The feedback that I have had from my teachers/ instructors varied. I had some that were positive and some that were negative, but in the end they were not really negative they were just trying to make me a better writer. I have had friends even give me negative feedback, laughter, silence and of course positive feedback. The friends that gave me the negative feedback were not trying to down grade me they were trying to help me get a better grade in the class over all. Friends can be good for many different things in this case feedback on things you write and your perspective over theirs. With the many different kinds of feedback and responses that I have got it has had a positive, negative and curious effect on me. When people were criticizing me I was wondering what I had did wrong and what I could have changed. When people were praising me I was still thinking there was something in the paper that could have been better but there were also things that were just right or people would not have agreed with the way I wrote it. When I did not get any feedback or responses I was worried that I did something horribly wrong or something horribly right. It sent many different thoughts running through my head, I was confused, aggravated, upset, excited, nervous, and anxious because I was not sure what the audience was thinking.
