Pitbulls- Good VS Bad

I personally think pit bulls are good dogs because I have had two pit bulls and they were both really great dogs. From what I have experienced with many different pit bulls it is in how they are raised, what animals/people they are around while they are growing up and how you treat them. If you treat them nice and praise them for good behavior and punish them for bad behavior they will be good dogs. If you train them to attack anyone and everyone they will do so. The pit bulls I have had were good dogs because of the way they were treated and raised. They knew when they did something bad where to go and what their punishment would be, when they were good they knew what would happen and their rewards and where to go to receive their rewards. My pit bull, Star, was the best dog you could ever have. At the snap of the fingers she would sit, snap them twice and she would lay down. My boyfriend, Star, and I would walk around the riverfront and she was so good that when she would walk in front of us, she would only get so far then she would sit down and look at my boyfriend. If my boyfriend would shake his head no she would stay, if he shook his head yes, she went ahead and took off but she would not go too far because she knew the consequences if she did. She was wonderful with people of all sorts, children, infants, grown-ups. She even loved other animals. We had her and three other dogs and a cat. She was friendly with everyone! She loved the attention. We called her attention hog. Star definitely had a bunch of nick names but she was a dog, all dogs have many different nick names from different people. When she was good she was rewarded walks and treats and different forms of praise. When she was bad she got swatted on the butt with a newspaper and locked in a room for five minutes, depending on what she did. When she got into the trash she would get smacked with whatever was laying around from the garbage that she got into. It could have been a paper plate or a plastic bowl or whatever she really got into honestly. She was the best dog I have ever had! I miss her so much!
